This modern harbourside cottage is right at the heart of Porthleven. Just a stone’s throw from the sea and local facilities, the property enjoys the best possible position in this beautiful fishing village.

An easy stroll, on level ground, will take you in minutes to the village ice cream parlour, pubs, restaurants and art galleries, or to Porthleven’s stunning beach with views along the south Cornish coast to Mounts Bay – a spectacular spot from which to watch the setting sun.

Those wishing to explore will find plenty to delight with superb National Trust coastline walks and the famous Loe Pool and its bird life right on the doorstep. Just beyond Porthleven, the National Seal Sanctuary, Flambards Theme Park and the Poldark Mine World Heritage site are just a few of the local activities on offer.

The property
The cottage itself is arranged over three floors with a small sunny front patio, an ideal spot to enjoy an ice cream and watch the harbour boats on the move.

Ground Floor
The large, open plan sitting room looks out over the horseshoe harbour and open ocean. It is well-equipped with TV, DVD and a radio/iPod dock. An archway leads through into a new fully-equipped kitchen and dining area with cosy wood flooring. There is also a small downstairs cloakroom with toilet and washbasin.

First Floor
The master bedroom is on this floor with spectacular views over both harbour and ocean The family bathroom is next door with toilet, washbasin and shower over bath. A small second room on this floor has children’s bunk beds, should parents wish to have younger children nearby.

Second Floor
On the second floor there is a twin bedroom with a dormer window overlooking the harbour and a double bedroom with Velux window.

Parking is usually available outside the house, however, there is also a private parking space a short walk away next to the village stores.

Bed linen and electricity is included in the rental Non smoking Changeover day – Saturday
